Why We Source Black Pepper Through a Single Exporter, Not a Broker Chain

Working through a single exporter in Madagascar means tighter control over grading — and fewer surprises for buyers.

Black pepper quality is commonly measured in grams per litre (G/L) — a density metric where a higher number indicates heavier, more tightly packed corns and generally higher quality.

One exporter, four grades

Our black pepper moves through a single exporter in Madagascar, across 450++ to 570++ G/L grades plus graded pinhead sizes. Working through one exporter instead of a chain of brokers means grading stays consistent from one shipment to the next.

All grades are hand-picked, machine-cleaned and processed to ASTA cleanliness standard before export.
